The problem is many of the items or cosmetic sets, require a level of commitment for which the average player is not prepared. There really is a wealth of variety and customization in Sea of Thieves. This really helps keep the game fresh by giving players new objectives to complete, and new loot to acquire. Some items on this list will take months of grinding or farming before a player is given the opportunity to get (often purchase) them. It’s likely every player of Sea of Thieves, released on March 20, 2018, for PC and Xbox One, has briefly glimpsed an item they’ve never seen before being carried by another player, in screenshots, or on a ship (as an upgrade).
